Lawrence (Larry) E. Krieger, 64, of Newburgh, died Monday, July 15, 2013 due to head injuries sustained in a car accident near Manchester, TN. Larry was born on March 20, 1949 in Weatherly, Pennsylvania to Clarence F. Krieger and Helen F. Krieger. Larry was employed at USF Holland Motor Carriers for approx. 20 years, where he achieved a 2 million mile safety award. Larry was previously employed at Greyhound Lines in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Larry was an extremely loving and generous person whom never met a stranger. Larry's giving nature extended to everyone he met. He was a loyal friend and was very nurturing to all of his friends and extended family. Larry often mentored other drivers and took great pride into being referred to as the "Human GPS". Larry was preceded in death by his father. His survivors include his wife, Stacie Miller Krieger, mother, Helen Francis Krieger, daughter, Justine (Don) Bailey, son, Eric Krieger, step sons, Stephen (Ebony) Schweikarth, Mark Schweikarth, Josh Schweikarth, sisters, Kathy Krieger, Georgia (Ed) Handwerk, grandchildren are Daphne & Zach Bailey and Aniyah Schweikarth, beloved Aunt and Uncle Marie & Andy Kotch. Larry will be missed by a large circle of loving friends who enjoyed his caring spirit, fun loving ways and (terrible) jokes. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 5501 Washington Ave. Evansville, Indiana. Reverend Dennis Davenport will officiate. Visitation will be held 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2013 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, Indiana (812) 853-8314.
