Linda Marie Memmer, 84, of Newburgh, IN was a shining example of God’s radiant love. She was born May 26, 1939, to her parents Noble and Rush (Burden) Todd. Linda grew up in Evansville, Indiana and remained there all of her life. On December 19,1959, she married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Memmer. Linda and Bob were happily married for 64 years and the proud parents of their daughter, Debbie.

Linda appreciated a simple and peaceful life. She loved to do puzzles and sing, but most of all she loved to spend time with her daughter and her grandsons, Josh, John, and Matthew. Linda was a devout servant of the Lord, a true Jesus lover who faithfully led her family into a deeper relationship with God. She attended Bethel Temple Church for much of her life where she volunteered on the communion team. 

Linda went to be with Jesus on March 8, 2024, surrounded by those she loved. Her beautiful smile and fierce love will be remembered for generations. 

She is survived by her faithful husband, Bob, her loving daughter, Debbie and her husband Paul Waggoner, as well as her grandsons, Josh (Lacy) Utley, John Utley, and Matthew (Michele) Waggoner, and her great-grandchildren: Bristan, Emma, Anna, Faith, and Jace.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Rush (Burden), her father, Noble Todd,  her sister, Mary (Jarvis), and her brothers, Cecil Todd and Chester Todd.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at Titzer Funeral Home, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Indiana, on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 1pm, officiated by Pastor Dave Schwambach. Linda will be laid to rest at Memorial Park cemetery.

Friends and family are invited to the funeral home, 510 W. Jennings St. for visitation on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 11am to 1pm.
