Lora Mary (Mcgraw) Casebeer

Lora Mary (McGraw) Casebeer 79, of Newburgh IN. passed away Saturday, July 23,2022 at Deaconess Gateway.  She was born January 16, 1943 to Andrew & Mildred McGraw.

She graduated from the old Elberfeld IN. high school in 1961.  She formally worked as a tax preparer and other various area restaurants and in dietary depts., in several nursing homes.  She retired from the Newburgh Preschool and Daycare.

Lora was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, a sister, Ruth Elaine McGraw in August 1952, a granddaughter, Lora Dawn Willis in 1997.  She also lost her companion of 22 years, Eugene (Gene) Henry Lang of Newburgh on March 4, 2008, son-in-law, Kevin Newcom, former daughter-in-law, Donna Woodward, her dog, Scrappy and 3 cats.

She is survived by her children, Cindy Geibel (Tim) of Newburgh, Ricky Bethe (Debra) and Rhonda Newcom, all of Evansville.  Lora was “Grandma’ to 8 grandchildren, Sheena Young (Tim), Andy (Jen) Burriss, Rocky (Tommi) Burriss, Brittany Burriss (John), Ricky Bethe, Jr. (Allie), Jessica Ridener (Matt), Samantha and Ethan Geibel.

She also was “Granny” to 14 great grandchildren, Abby, Aaron, Keith, Tabitha, Karma and Taryn, Jozelyn, Colten, Braydin, Trinity, Grayson, Haylee, Jasper, Matt.

She was very loved and will be missed very much by all.

The family wishes to thank our close friends and neighbors, her doctors and nurses, and especially Breeanna Adams at Home Instead Care.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh IN. 47630, (812) 853-8314, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Newburgh.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till time of service on Thursday, at the funeral home and on Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m.
