Louise Englehardt Cecil of Evansville Louise Englehardt Cecil, 84, of Evansville, Ind. formerly of Elberfeld, Ind. passed away Thursday February 21, 2013 at VNA Charlier Hospice Center. She was a born in Evansville on October 30, 1928 to the late Nathan and Ollie (Childress) Johns. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Daylight. Louise was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, old movies, QVC, and especially loved her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Walter Englehardt, Jr.; brother, Richard Johns. Louise is survived by husband, Darwin Cecil of Evansville; two brothers, Charles Johns of Florida, and Earl Johns of Indianapolis, Ind.; three sisters, Dorthy May Miller of Indianapolis, Ind., Beulah O'Brien of Evansville, and Mary Jo McKeehan of Rockport, Ind.; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday February 24, 2013 with visitation starting at noon at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Ind. (812) 983-4211. Rev. Fr. Ted Temple will officiate with burial to follow in Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Charlier Hospice Center, 610 E. Walnut St. Evansville, Ind.
