Margaret “Maggie” Harrington Sollman, 89, passed away, Monday December 9, 2013 at River Pointe Health Campus. She was born on August 26, 1924 in Buckskin, Indiana to the late Opha O. (Kemper) and William M. Feistel. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, the Eastern Star, VFW 1114 and American Legion 351 auxiliaries. Maggie enjoyed playing clabber and bingo. Maggie is survived by children, Jenny Harris (Don), John Harrington, and Diane Bethe; three grandchildren, Pamela Evans (Rick), Daryn Shanks, Denise Miller; nine great-grandchildren, Brandon and Adam Weisgerber, Logan Powers, Riley Miller, Austin and Dalton Shanks, Chayce, Brayden, and Karah Bethe; two great-great-grandchildren, Jazmine and Christian Weisgerber. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gilbert Harrington; daughter, Karla Shanks Cooper; grandson, Chuck Shanks; brother, Herman Feistel; sisters, Roseva, Mary, and Katie Schultz, Helen Bethe; two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital or VNA Hospice. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday December 13, 2013 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Volkman Chapel, 2nd. & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Ind. (812) 983-4211. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
