Marion Jeanette Gowdy

Marion Jeanette Bush Gowdy, 87, of Evansville, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at Golden Living Woodlands Healthcare.  Marion was born on April 11, 1929 to the late Norman and Thelma (South) Retter. 

Marion was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother and dear friend to many. 

She was preceded in death by husbands, Hutton Bush, Jr. (33 years) and Kenneth Gowdy (20 years), and son, Steven Bush.

Marion is survived by children, John Bush, Cindy Dean, Richard Bush, Sherry Gish, and Greg Bush; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren.

At the request of Marion, she wanted family and friends to remember her as she was in life, not at the time of her passing.  A celebration of life will be held on April 8, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 511 N. Idaho St. Chandler, IN 47610.

The family would like to give great thanks to the staff of Woodlands Healthcare and Aseracare Hospice for the love, care and compassion given to Marion.
