Martin Patrick Ramsey

Martin Patrick Ramsey, 68, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026. He was born in Tell City, Indiana, on November 9, 1957, to the late Bill and Anne (Flannagan) Ramsey.

Martin was a graduate of Memorial High School and worked at the Sheet Metal Union Local 20 for many years. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Martin is survived by his wife of 46 years, Arla (Hoffman) Ramsey; children, Lorne Ramsey, John Ramsey (Molly), Kenny Ramsey (Alissa), Daniel Ramsey; grandchildren, Dylan (Shaydee), Kayla, Nolan, Nora; great grandchildren, Asher, Myles, Hazel; siblings, Bill Ramsey, Ruth Girten, Tom (Bessie) Ramsey, Frances Dunn, Phyllis Kolb, David Ramsey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Anne (Flannagan) Ramsey, and his sister, Mary Morris.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 26th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd, Newburgh, Indiana 47630, with a private burial taking place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery at a later date. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 25th, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St, Newburgh, Indiana 47630, with a memorial service beginning at 8:00 pm.
