Mary Rose Kuhr, 78, of Newburgh, IN, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 30, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born in Newburgh, IN, on April 6, 1946, to the late Shelby Fulkerson Sr. & Mildred (Herr) Fulkerson-Wildeman.
Mary Rose attended Castle High School. She was a member of the women’s auxiliary and a bartender at the American Legion Kapperman Post 44 in Newburgh for many years. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Mary Rose is survived by her children, Raylene Callis, Rose (John) Stevens, Virgil Kuebler III; grandchildren, Alan (Lori) Bradley, Amanda Burdette, Andy (Nikki) Callis, Kim (Richard) Hudson, Angie Kuebler, Kevin Stevens, Shelby Stevens, Madelyn Stevens, John David Stevens; 10 great grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Fulkerson; nieces; nephews; as well as extended step-families and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 34 years, Virgil Kuebler Jr.; husband of 8 years David Kuhr; sons, infant Timothy Ray Kuebler & Jon Kuebler; brothers, Ray Fulkerson & Shelby Fulkerson Jr.
A funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN 47630, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2024, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Simpson Chapel.
