Mary Margaret (Mathew) Alexander, 87, formerly of Evansville, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at Alive Hospice in Madison, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband James; her parents, Earl and May Mathew; and brothers Harold and Glen. She is survived by her son-in-love and daughter, Paul and Mary Jo Martin and her daughter, Jana Beck, all of Hermitage, TN; grandchildren, Erin (Todd) Stevens, Jason Mathew (Julie) Martin, Drew (Brittany) Beck and Jenny (Travis) White; great-grandchildren, Elijah Paul, Daniel James, and Levi Andrew Stevens, Hannah Grace and Joshua Mathew Martin, and Carson Lee White; sister, Darlene (Kenny) Davis and sister-in-love, Patricia Mathew. Mary was a faithful member of the Evansville General Baptist Church before moving to Nashville, TN to be near her daughters. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Park Lawn Cemetery conducted by Rev. James Pickerill, her pastor and Rev. Todd Stevens, her grandson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Evansville General Baptist Church, 2002 Hicks Drive, Evansville, IN 47714 or Friendship Community Church Impact Center, P.O. Box 1905, Mt.
