Melinda J. Barclay

Melinda Jean (Bassett) Barclay, age 64, of Newburgh, IN passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.  She was born on August 24, 1956 to the late Donal and Wilma (France) Bassett in Canton, Illinois.  She graduated from V.I.T. High School in Table Grove, Illinois in 1974.  Melinda spent most of her working years as a pharmacy technician and later enjoyed cleaning houses.  She cherished the time she spent with family, especially her granddaughters.  She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Chuck Barclay.  She is also survived by her brother Dennis Bassett of Nashville, TN and daughter Allie (and her husband Dan) Ingler of Newburgh, IN and granddaughters Lainie and Alivia.  She also has many beloved nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 4pm-8pm at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W.
