Mildred I. Sutton, 99, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born November 6, 1914, in Mayfield, Kentucky. She was a caregiver at Deaconess Hospital for 20 years and a Nurse's Aid for 10 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles I. Sutton in 1968; daughter, June Miller in 2000; and granddaughter, Tammy Wright in 2008. Mildred is survived by her granddaughters, Tara Miller, Tonya Pfingston-Huff (Jim); great-grandchildren, Brant Wright, Matt Pfingston, Nikki Pfingston, Shane Hewitt, Zachary Hewitt, Lucas Hewitt. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2013, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Ind., (812) 853-8314. Rev. Mike Claypool will officiate and burial will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
