Mildred “Mickey” Freyberger, 90, passed away Saturday March 21, 2015 at Heritage Center. She was born in Rockport, KY on June 24, 1924 to Sam and Era Bennett. Mickey worked at Davco for over 35 years and also helped her husband, Bob, at Freyberger Marine. Mickey loved sewing, crafting and her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 45 years, Bob Freyberger in 1986; her son, Herb; and her cousin and best friend Ernestine Fireline. Mickey is survived by one son, Jerry Freyberger (Betsey) of Evansville; three grandchildren, Kari Diehl (Matt); Sara Robinson (Adam); David Freyberger (Dawn); two great-grandchildren, Ella and Haydin Robinson. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. with funeral services at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN (812) 424-9288. Entombment will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to any local animal shelter. Sympathy wishes may made at titzerfuneralhomes.com.
