Patti Lee (Mitchell) Healy

Patti Lee (Mitchell) Healy, 70, of Newburgh, IN, passed away on April 24, 2024. She was born January 6, 1954, in Evansville, IN to the late Thomas Elwood and Mary (Isham) Mitchell.

Patti was a 1972 graduate of North High School and retired from Alcoa in 2016 after 25 years. She loved gardening, watching hummingbirds, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Patti is survived by her husband of 52 years, Darrel Healy, daughters, Sherri (Healy) Young, and Kayla Birdwell (Russell), grandsons, Justus Healy, Ryen Healy (Caitlin), Camren Birdwell, and Kaeden Young, great granddaughter, Elowen Healy, sisters, Linda Winternheimer (Raymond), Connie Mitchell, Judy McGraw, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.   

Patti is preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Joshua Birdwell.

A funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN 47630, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2024, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to say Thank You to Dr. Michael Titzer and the staff at the Evansville Cancer Center, and to the staff at The Waters of Rockport for their care of Patti.
