Randall Lee Block of Newburgh, Ind. Randall Lee Block, 73, passed away, Monday, December 3, 2012, at home. He was born October 20, 1939, in Princeton, Ind., the son of Benjamin and Irma (Oestreicher) Block, of Mackey, Ind. His brother, Bob, preceded him in death. Randy and his wife, Yvonne (Hamm) Block, were married for 50 years. Also surviving are two lovely daughters, Cindi Thompson (Dan) of Eureka, MT, Kelly Rasmussen (John) of Perth, Western Australia; one fine son, Cary R. Block of Newburgh, Ind.; five wonderful grandchildren that he loved very much, Shelby and Joseph Thompson, Emily, Brendon, and Eric Rasmussen. Randy graduated from Purdue University. He was a retired pharmacist and also a Captain in the United States Air Force. Randy's favorite hobby was target shooting. He made many friends doing this but the best times were spent with his son Cary at the range. "We will always love and miss him. He was my true love. Be safe in God's arms until we meet again."
