James Randal "Randy" Triplett, 64, of Evansville, IN, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at his home. He was born May 31, 1954 in Evansville to John Joseph and Marjorie (Marg) J. (Negley) Triplett. Randy was a truck driver for the Vanderburgh County Highway Dept. for 40 years. He was a former member of St. Theresa, where he was active in the Men's Club and the Summer Social, and then a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and its Men's Club. He was a member of the Knights of St. John, St. Joseph Commandery #306. Randy had held several offices throughout the years, the Knights of St. John Regimental of the 6th District, the Knights of St. John International, Kentucky Temple Noble, Exalted Knights of the Holy Cross, the Owls, and SIAM. He was preceded in death by his mother. Randy is survived by his father, John J. Triplet of Evansville; brother, John Roger Triplett (Patricia) of Medford, NJ; nephew, Tyson Triplett of New Haven, CT; and good friend, Connie Curl of Haubstadt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9 a.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 5301 Daylight Dr., Evansville. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m., Wednesday at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E.
