Richard A. Osman, Sr.

Richard A. Osman, Sr., 80, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway. He was born January 13, 1939 in Elmhurst, IL to the late E. Richard and Genola (White) Osman. Richard attended Southern Illinois University and Worsham College of Mortuary Science. He was a funeral director and embalmer all of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Patricia Jean Carlin. Richard is survived by his wife, Debra (Allen) Osman; children, Richard A. Osman, Jr. (Jennifer); Holli Dykema; Dana A. Osman (Jennifer); grandchildren, Meghan, Felix, Bethany, J.J., Flynn, Abigail; and his beloved pet, Tater. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN (812) 853-8314. Pastor Jonathan Scott will officiate and burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Friday and 12 p.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
