Rita Jean Gilpatrick

Rita Jean Gilpatrick, 65, of Evansville, IN, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at her home.  She was born December 2, 1952 in Evansville, to Lee and Violet (Coe) Walden.  Rita loved to have cookouts with her family especially her grandchildren.  She was all about her family life. 

Rita was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 32 years, Gordon Gilpatrick.  She is survived by her daughter, Rona Fields (Jeff); son, Virgil Gilpatrick (Tracy); 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Donnie Walden (Donna), Barbara Grigsby, Wanda Hart, Sam Walden (Judy); and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2018 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, IN (812) 424-9288.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
