Robert Paul Elliott

Robert Paul Elliott, 84, of Elberfeld, IN, passed away at his home Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Bob was born January 27, 1940, in Evansville, IN to Philmore and Anna (Cheshire) Elliott, the youngest of seven. 

Bob served four years in the United States Air Force, overseas in Germany. Bob was employed for thirty-five years at Alcoa, his last job being a mill operator. 

Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara (Hartley) Elliott and a nephew, Joe Patterson of Indianapolis, IN. Also, his family by choice, Steve and Becky Grelle of Seymour, IN. and Becky’s children, Aaron, Olivia, Ben and Joel Coomer.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and only daughter, Kimberly (Elliott) Hopson, brothers, Tom and Edward (Pete) Elliott, sisters, Elizabeth Palmer, Dorothy Richards, Marjorie Elliott, Shirley Elliott, and a nephew, Ed Elliott. 

 A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to the time of service, at Zion United Church of Christ 165 Elm St., Elberfeld, IN 47613, with burial to follow at Nobles Chapel cemetery with full military rites. 

A visitation will be held from 2p.m. to7p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024, at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel 2^nd and Elm St., Elberfeld, IN 47613.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice or Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center.
