Roxanna Lynn Phillips of Evansville, Ind. Roxanna Lynn Phillips, 52, passed away, Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born July 11, 1961, in Los Angeles, to Wayne J. and Shelby J. (Schirle) Southerland. She was a 1979 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and was a caregiver for group homes. Roxanna loved her horses and cats which were her life. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Terry Phillips. Roxanna is survived by her son, Christopher Gross of Evansville; brother, Bud Southerland of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Jackie Renae Southerland of Mt. Vernon, Yvonne Temme of Wadesville, Yvette Thorbecke of Mt. Vernon; three nieces; 2 nephews; 3 great-nieces; 6 great-nephews; special friends, Bunny and Dwaine Fowlkes of Evansville; and her best friend, Michael of Evansville. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday August 24, 2013 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, Ind. (812) 424-9274. Rev. Bill Carlisle will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday August 23, 2013 and Saturday, 12:30 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
