Russell Arvin Farmer, 85, of Evansville, Ind., passed away, Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Parkview Care Center. He was born June 12, 1931, in Sebree, KY. He was of Pentecostal faith, and sold insurance for KY Central and National Life.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Lois June (Steinsultz) Farmer; and son, Cecil Farmer.
Russell is survived by his wife, Doris Mae (White) Farmer; children, Briana Winger (David), Cecilia Kelly Howard, Mark A. Farmer (Sonya), Russell "Keith" Farmer (Michelle); 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, Ind., (812) 424-9288.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home. Sympathy wishes to the family may be shared at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
