Sharon F. Murphy, 66, of Evansville, passed away at her home on Monday, December 16, 2013. She was born in Evansville on February 28, 1947 to Robert G. and Alberta (Ruxer) Banks. She attended St. Benedicts and graduated from Bosse High School. She was a Catholic and worked as a book-keeper. Sharon was preceded in death by her father and a son, Brian Scott Murphy. She is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly S. Campfield (Chris) and Kristina M. Murphy; mother, Alberta Banks; brother, Robert J. Banks (Debbie); three grandchildren, Starla R. Murphy, Kyle C. Campfield; and Nicole M. Bufkin (Jason); four great-grandchildren; Aliviya G. All, Hannah N. Murphy, Nathanial R. Murphy, and Jordan Renee Murphy; nephew, Justin Banks. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Heritage Hospice for their support and care in her final days. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 at Oak Hill Cemetery at 10 a.m. Chaplain Tom Hubachek is officiating the service. Memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Sharon to the family. Titzer Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
