Shirley Ann Clark

Shirley Ann (Mellencamp) Clark, 91, of Boonville In passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025.

Shirley was born on April 10th, 1934 in Bobtown IN, outside of Seymour, to her parents Harry Perry and Laura Nancy (Noblitt) Mellencamp.

After graduating from high school, Shirley married Ronald Clark, the love of her life. They were married for over 72 years. Shirley was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; she was very strong in her faith as well. Shirley also worked a very rewarding career at the Warrick County Welfare Department for 25 years.

Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ritchey Lee; her parents; her siblings, Jim, Mary “Toots”, Joe and Jay. Shirley is survived by her loving husband Ronald; her brother, Richard; and her children, Jan, Bobby (Karen), Joyce (Daniel), and Kelly (Frank). She was also a very proud grandmother to Nicole, Tara, Dylan, Chris, Samantha, Scott, Brandon, Keelyn, Levi, Seth, Jessica, Jade, Amie, Jeremy and Alex. She was also blessed with 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Shirley’s honor on November 15th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at The Boonville Nazarene Church, 323 S 4th St in Boonville, IN.
