Shirley Louise Edrington 86, of Newburgh IN. formally of Arthur IN. passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 30, 2022, at the Heart to Heart Hospice in Evansville IN.

She was born March 23, 1936 in Princeton IN. to the late Charles & Dorothy Mae (McKee) Taft.  She attended Oakland City High School and worked as a Sales Clerk at Sears and Roebuck for many years.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Charles Edgar Taft, and husband, Pearl Allen Edrington.

Her survivors include sons, Carl Edrington, Phoenix AZ., Larry Edrington (Dee Reavis), Chandler, IN., Greg Edrington (Debbie), Chandler, IN., sister, Connie Brown (John), Washington IN., grandchildren, Whitney Edrington, Amanda Bayer (Jim), Cody Reavis, great grandchildren, Quentin Fox, Hayden Cruse, Alexis Edrington, Grace Bayer, Blayze Reavis, also several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am. CST., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh IN. 47630, (812) 853-8314, with the Rev. Daniel Edwards officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 am CST., on Saturday at the funeral home.  Additional visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM. CST., on Friday at the funeral home.  A graveside service will be in Montgomery Cemetery, Oakland City IN. at 11:30 am. CST., Saturday.
