Steven Robert Kunkel of Boonville, Ind. Steven Robert Kunkel, 58, passed away, Sunday, February 17, 2013, at home. He was born July 16, 1954, in Quebec Canada, to Bob and Mellie Ann Kunkel. Steven graduated from Bosse High School in 1972; he then went into the United States Air Force where he was a sergeant with the security police. He was a district manager for Stacy's Greenhouses. Steven loved the outdoors, animals, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Kunkel and niece, Emily Rose Achilles. Steven is survived by his wife of 28 years, Melissa; daughter, Allyre Lincoln (Michael); son, Andrew Kunkel; grandchildren, Amey and Kaylee Lincoln, Logan, Luke, and Landon Kunkel; mom, Mellie Ann Kunkel; sister, Debbie Achilles (Jeff); nephews, Jeffrey and Garrett. He loved his dog Susie. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2301 N. Stockwell Rd., Evansville, Father Ted Tempel officiating and burial to follow at St. Joe Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. till service time at church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Warrick County Humane Society. Arrangements are in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, (812) 853-8314.
