Susie Ayers, 61, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Evansville on July 9, 1952 to the late Winston and Gladys (Persinger) Bailey. She graduated from Reitz High School in 1970. She worked for Kent Plastics for 12 years. Susie enjoyed working on genealogy, traveling with her husband, and doing crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James. Susie is survived by her husband of 35 years, John Ayers; sister, Etta Hicks; brothers, Gary (Carol), Terry (Carolyn), Steve (Julie), and Warren Bailey; several nieces and nephews, Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday November 4, 2013 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Indiana. Pastor Arlene Okey will officiate with burial to follow in Susott Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2013and Monday 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Sympathy wishes may be made at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
