Talitha "Hallene" Childers

Talitha "Hallene" Childers, 88, passed away, Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Golden Living Woodlands Nursing Center.  She was born November 30, 1929, in Nelson, KY, to Oscar and Katherine (Moore) Thompson. 

Hallene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Childers; son-in-law, John Hampton; and brother, Jimmy Thompson.  She is survived by her daughter, Diana (Childers) Hampton; son, James Childers (Angie); daughter, Kay (Childers) Bredenkamp (John); daughter, Elizabeth (Childers) Chapman (Terry); six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are private and in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Ind.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Sympathy wishes to the family may be shared at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
