Terrance "Terry" Maxwell Crume 79, of Oakland City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday May 6, 2015 at his home. Terry was born in Horse Branch, Kentucky on September 18, 1935 to the late Eloise (Walker) and Earl Crume. Terry graduated from Horse Branch High School in 1953, Terry was married to the late Mona (Autry) Crume for 58 years. He is survived by his daughters, Shawn Crume of Huntingburg, Darnell Kellams of Petersburg and a son, Scott Crume of Petersburg; ten grand children and fourteen great-grand children; brother David (Marilyn) Crume, sisters Carol Leach, and Donna Shields. Terry is preceded in death by his sons, Darren Crume, and Stephen Crume; daughters, Dana Sutt, and Dionne Crume; grandson, Shane Crume; granddaughter, Destiny Crume; sister, Alita Wilson. Terry retired from Solar Sources of Petersburg after 24 years. He was an avid gardener, known for raising tomatoes. He was known as the "tomato man" around his home town. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his buddies Bob Furguson and Mark Mason. The family would like to thank Brandy Strange, Aron Huchel, Karen Little and Sheila Bager for their loving care. A celebration of Terry's life will be held at the Oakland City Community Center located at Wirth Park Sunday May 24th from 4-8 p.m. EST.
