Thomas Edward Chandley, 81, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at his home in Elberfeld, IN.  He was born in Evansville on May 18, 1938 to Russell Tryon and Margaret Jane (Elliott) Chandley.  He graduated from Reitz High School in 1956.  Thomas worked for Kent Plastics for over 30 years.  He enjoyed auctions and rummage sales, collecting anything that someone might need.  He cared for his wives for many years. 

 

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wives, Lelia Chandley and Sandra Chandley; his son-in-law, David Tepool and granddaughter, Katrina Carter.

 

He is survived by children, Patti Tepool of Evansville, David Chandley (Diane) of St. Louis, MO, and Penny Sheneman (Todd) of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, Kira (Tepool) Helmerich, Jason Tepool, Mark Chandley, Emmalyn Chandley, and Andrew Sheneman; two great-grandchildren, Chase Carter and Kona Chandley; brother, Mike Chandley (Rhonda) of Evansville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Thomas will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN 47711 (812) 424-9288.  Rev. Bob Simpkins will officiate with burial in Blue Grass Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and 9 a.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.  Condolences may be made at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
