Timothy K. Stephens, Jr. of Newburgh, Ind. Timothy K. Stephens, Jr., 33, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012. He was born December 19, 1978, in Corydon, Ind. Tim worked for Peabody Coal Company at their Francisco Mine. He enjoyed life and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grover and Sue Stephens. Tim is survived by his fiancé, Joyce (Lanie) Chandler of Newburgh and her children, Marcus (Cathy), Tyler, and her grandson, Blake; his parents, Greg and Medea Tatum of Evansville and Tim Stephens of Oakland City; a brother, Adam (Ashley) Stephens of Mt. Carmel, Ill., grandparents, Karen Jensen and Fred Cunningham of Corydon, Ind., step- grandparents, Charles and Kathleen Tatum of Henderson; great- grandmother, Clara Lasley of Corydon, Ind., several aunts and uncles; and two nieces, Kennedie and Hannah. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W Jennings St., Newburgh, Ind., (812) 853-8314, burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
