Victoria Angelica Hall

Victoria Angelica Hall, 89, of Newburgh, IN, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Evansville on February 26, 1935, to the late Albert and Viola Roberts Barton.

Victoria’s family was her everything, she was always ready with a listening ear and gave the best advice she knew to give. Throughout her life, Victoria has served her family lovingly, she taught them to honor God, and supported all their life goals. She was both a Girl Scout and Cub scout leader, room mother at school, and the Sunday School teacher at Newburgh Methodist Church where she started their library. Victoria loved singing, sewing, and was a wonderful cook who enjoyed helping at Townsend Church with special meals for Bible School and other gatherings. She was a devoted mother, meemaw, granny, and great grandma who will be missed dearly. 

Victoria is survived by her daughters, Cindy Sarver (Terry), Cecelia Mehling (Paul); daughter-in-law, Susan Hall; grandchildren, David Hall (Sarah), Jenna Austill (Ryan), Danielle Tucker (Zach), Katelyn Ice (Cameron), Kendra Gould (Alex), Kirsten Mehling, Korissa Mehling, Amee Hadley (Doug), Leah Powers (Brandon), Dustin Sarver (Amanda); great grandchildren, Bailee, Bennett, Hollen, Porter, Lucas, Noah, Brooklynn, Jaxson, Brolen, Bronsen, Bode, Jayden, Julianne, JaQuar; brothers, Tim Barton (Julie), George Michael Barton (Terry).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde T. Hall; son, Brian T. Hall; parents, Albert, and Viola Roberts Barton; brother, Bervin Barton; sister, Pamela Shurtleff.

A funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN 47630, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to the time of service at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel. 

The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Heritage Hospice for their excellent compassionate care of Victoria. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Victoria may be made to the Tristate Food Bank and/or Mother Theresa Food Bank of Newburgh.
