Wallace P. "Wally" Martina of Newburgh, Ind. Wallace P. "Wally" Martina, 75, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, at home. He was born January 28, 1938, in Isabella, Pennsylvania, to Joseph and Rose Angelina (Bozek) Martina. Wally was a wonderful husband, father, and Papoo, who loved his family and enjoyed life. He was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Theresa Jones in 2008. Wally is survived by his wife of 36 years, Evelyn; children, Cheryl Gile, Karin Smith (Jeffrey), Jeffery Martina; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Eric, Aaron, Taylor, Carolyn, Adam; and a sister, Joyce Sievert (Richard). A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd, Newburgh, Indiana, Father Attila Frohlich will officiate. Friends may visit 9 a.m. to Mass time at the church. Arrangements are in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St, Newburgh, Indiana (812) 853-8314.
