William T. “Bill” Thomason, Sr., 72, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Monday April 13, 2015 at Deaconess VNA Plus. He was born February 3, 1943 in Central City, KY to Elbert Lee and Dorothy Louise (Vincent) Thomason. He retired from Fautless Caster. After retirement he worked six years for Deaconess Hospital in Environmental Services. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing card/dice games with Millie and Bruce and he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judith in 2010; and his sister, Patricia Holt. Bill is survived by his daughter, Diane Paschall (David); son, Will Thomason, Jr. (Kristen); grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, and Ashley Paschall, Abigail, Brooke, and Alexander Thomason; siblings, Nancy West, Gordon Thomason, Ronnie Thomason, Mickey Thomason, Lewis Thomason, Barbara Boxx; sister-in-law, Millie Cameron (Bruce); several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2015 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN (812) 853-8314. Reverend Phil Elikofer will officiate with burial to follow in Bates Hill Cemetery.
